Privacy Policy
The security and protection of personal data are fundamental to our company, and we ensure compliance with them in all our business processes. All processing operations are carried out in accordance with the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data and, in particular, with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter, “GDPR”), as well as with the confidentiality obligations that guide our business.
This document describes how the personal data of users who visit and interact with the website www.movesion.com (hereinafter, the “Site”) are processed. This Privacy & Cookie Policy applies solely to this Site and not to any other websites that do not belong to Movesion S.r.l. and that may be accessed through links on the pages of the Site.
Before browsing or providing us with your data, please read this general notice, as well as any specific notices that may be issued from time to time pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR before you access services or restricted areas of the Site that involve the transmission of your personal data.
1. Contact details of the Data Controller
The Data Controller is Movesion S.r.l. (“Movesion”), represented by its legal representative pro tempore, with registered office at Lungotevere Portuense, n. 158 – 00153, Roma (RM), tel. 0662273606, fax 0699334872, email [email protected].
Movesion s.r.l. has identified and appointed a Data Protection Officer, who can be reached at [email protected].
2. Purposes and legal basis. Categories of data processed
While you browse the Site, the following data may be collected and will be processed for the purposes and on the legal bases described below:
Browsing data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site collect certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers and devices used by users, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.
These data are necessary for the use of the web services and are also processed to obtain statistical information on the use of the services and to check that they are functioning correctly. Except in this case, at present, browsing data will not be kept for more than seven days and will be deleted immediately after being aggregated (subject to any need for the Judicial Authority to investigate criminal offenses).
The legal basis for processing for the above purposes is the pursuit of Movesion’s legitimate interest, which consists of analyzing the use of the Site, verifying its functioning, and establishing or defending a right in court.
Data voluntarily provided by the user
The optional and voluntary sending of communications by email addressed to Movesion, or by filling in the form available in the “Contacts” section of the Site, entails the collection of your contact details, as well as of all personal data included in the email and/or in the above form (including, merely by way of example, first name, last name, email address), which are necessary to provide you with an appropriate response.
The legal basis for processing for the above purpose is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject.
Cookies
Cookies are short text and number files that are downloaded and stored in the memory of your web browser (“browser”) when you visit a website. On each subsequent visit, the stored cookies are sent to the website that originated them (first-party cookies) or to another website that recognizes them (third-party cookies). Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognize the user’s device, improving the browsing experience.
In providing the web services, no cookies are used to transmit personal information, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind, or user tracking systems, used.
This site uses only first-party technical and session cookies. No cookies are used for user profiling, nor are any other tracking methods employed.
Session cookies
The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient exploration of the site, as well as to allow you to browse efficiently within it. The so-called session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other computer techniques that could potentially compromise the confidentiality of users’ browsing and do not allow the collection of personal data identifying the user.
Technical cookies
This Site uses “technical” cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of the Site’s pages, making it possible, by way of example and without limitation, to keep track of the authentication performed by a user or by an administrator of the Site. The Site also uses “technical” functionality cookies, which are used to store the choices made by the user while browsing (for example, by retaining the data entered in a form in a specific section of the site). Cookies of this type do not collect any personal information about the user.
Without the types of cookies described above, some features may be impaired and/or access to content may be limited. Please note that the use of the cookies described above does not require the user’s express consent.
3. Nature of the provision of data
Except as provided with specific reference to cookies and browsing data, the provision of data for the purposes indicated in section 2 is not mandatory: however, failure to provide data, or the provision of partial or inaccurate data, will make it impossible to respond to the requests you send us.
4. Data retention period
Personal data will be kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed.
Personal data may be disclosed to parties appointed by the Controller to perform services related to the management and maintenance of the site, as well as to provide IT solutions (e.g. cloud services), including in their capacity as Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR. An up-to-date list of these parties may be requested from Movesion by writing to [email protected].
The above data are also processed by technical staff specifically authorized and trained on the basis of specific instructions regarding the purposes and methods of processing, or by any persons authorized to carry out occasional maintenance operations. Please note that your data will be stored by our hosting service provider (Aruba), whose servers are located in Italy.
5. Transfer of data abroad
The personal data of requesting parties may be disclosed within Italy and the European Union, in compliance with the rights and safeguards provided for by applicable law. Please also note that Movesion, with regard to the data processed through the Site, does not carry out any transfer to countries outside the European Union.
6. Rights of the data subject
You may contact Movesion at any time to obtain full clarity on the processing operations and to exercise the rights granted to you under Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR. In particular, merely by way of example, you may request:
- confirmation as to whether or not your personal data are being processed and, where that is the case, access to them (so-called “right of access”);
- the rectification of inaccurate personal data, or the completion of incomplete personal data (so-called “right to rectification”);
- the erasure of the data, where one of the grounds provided for by the GDPR applies (so-called “right to be forgotten”);
- the restriction of processing, where one of the cases provided for by the GDPR applies (so-called “right to restriction of processing”);
- to receive the personal data you have provided to the Controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit those data to another Data Controller (so-called “right to data portability”).
In addition, you may at any time withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data carried out by the Controller. Such withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) if you believe that the processing operations we have described to you infringe applicable data protection legislation. Any requests to exercise your rights must be sent to Movesion by writing to [email protected].
8. Updates to this Privacy & Cookie Policy
This Privacy & Cookie Policy may be updated by Movesion in order to comply with national and European legislation on the processing of personal data and/or to adapt to the adoption of new internal systems or procedures, or for any other reason that may become appropriate and/or necessary.
This Privacy & Cookie Policy may therefore be amended over time, at any time and without notice. We therefore invite you to check this page of the Site periodically.
